Working at the intersection of brand strategy, market intelligence, and platform dynamics, you'll translate audience behaviors and trending industry topics into social campaigns that feel authentic and drive engagement. We're looking for someone who can balance strategic planning with reactive agility, finding opportunities to amplify brand messages through compelling storytelling and community building. Success means developing social strategies that consistently grow engaged audiences while achieving key business objectives.    What you will be doing:  Develop comprehensive social media strategies that align with brand objectives and drive engagement, reach, and conversion across key platforms  Create content strategies and editorial calendars that balance planned campaigns with real-time social opportunities and cultural moments  Analyze social media performance using metrics including engagement rates, reach, sentiment, and conversion attribution to optimize future content  Collaborate with creative teams to develop social content formats, visual identities, and brand voice guidelines that resonate with target audiences  Build community management approaches that foster genuine engagement and handle customer service interactions professionally  Transform audience insights and social listening data into actionable content recommendations and campaign optimizations  Guide internal influencer strategies that expand reach and build credibility  Coordinate with PR, advertising, and content teams to ensure social media supports integrated marketing campaigns  Stay current with platform algorithm changes, emerging social trends, and new feature rollouts to maintain competitive advantage  Deliver social programs that improve key metrics such as follower growth, engagement rates, brand sentiment, and social-driven conversions What you need to be great in this role:  A portfolio demonstrating successful social media strategy development, with strong understanding of platform-specific content optimization  Proficiency in social media management platforms such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or Buffer, plus native platform analytics  Experience developing content strategies that balance brand messaging with audience interests and cultural relevance  Understanding of social media advertising, including audience targeting, budget optimization, and campaign measurement  Ability to analyze social media data and translate insights into strategic recommendations for content and community growth  Strong storytelling skills for creating compelling social content that drives engagement and supports brand objectives  Experience with social listening tools and sentiment analysis to inform strategy and manage brand reputation  Proficiency with Gen AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, Copy.ai) to enhance content ideation, copywriting, and visual concept development  Agentic mindset: ability to break down complex social media challenges systematically and identify optimal content and engagement approaches  Experience using AI for social listening analysis, trend identification, and audience insight generation  Understanding of AI capabilities and limitations in social media strategy, with strong human evaluation of cultural sensitivity and brand alignment  Ability to leverage AI tools while maintaining authentic brand voice and genuine community connections  Experience integrating AI workflows to improve content production efficiency and campaign optimization  Experience with financial services, fintech, or regulated industries including compliance considerations for social media marketing  Knowledge of social commerce strategies and platform shopping features  Experience with video content strategy including short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts  Understanding of crisis communication principles and social media reputation management  Familiarity with cross-channel marketing integration and social media's role in customer journey mapping    Financial sector experience preferred, not required  At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from  $97,750.00  to  $109,250.00 . Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVER’s total compensation package.
