The Role
This Product Manager role sits within our data product team, which is focused on developing our state-of-the-art data product for fixed income to streamline our customers' trading workflows. In this position, you will define and drive the product vision and roadmap for data-driven products, interacting with business and technical stakeholders across the firm who help support these product development initiatives and are responsible for adoption by our clients.
The ideal candidate will have technical knowledge including experience of Agile methodologies, product management skills within the fintech industry, and a track record of delivering innovative, data-driven solutions. Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies is strongly preferred.
How You'll Help Take Us There
Own and drive the product strategy and roadmap for data products, ensuring alignment with company goals and market opportunities
Define and prioritize the product backlog so that it best supports the execution of the product strategy
Serve as a subject matter expert in both fixed income trading data and Agile culture, processes, practices and tooling
Identify customer needs and translate them into clear product requirements for the cross-functional teams responsible for delivering products that meet those needs
Conduct user research, gather feedback, and analyze user and market data for insight on what is driving client behavior; use this data to inform product decisions and produce insightful material that will drive product usage
Collaborate closely with engineering, data science, and design teams to ensure the delivery of coherent, consistently high-quality products delivered at pace
Evaluate and champion opportunities to leverage ML and AI capabilities within data products to enhance client outcomes
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product strategy and identify differentiation opportunities
Monitor and own product metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product ROI, success, and identify areas for improvement
Clearly communicate product vision, roadmap, and priorities to cross-functional teams and stakeholders; be comfortable showcasing progress to large groups through demos and walkthroughs
Continuously iterate and improve products based on customer feedback, data analysis, and market trends
Play an active role in the Product Management community, helping to grow our capability in these areas
Participate in sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives as part of an agile development process
What We’re Looking for
5+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, or a related field
Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject (ideally technical - e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar)
Strong understanding of agile development methodologies, processes, practices, and tooling
Experience in the financial services sector, ideally within the fixed income markets
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to drive product decisions
Fundamental understanding of database design, including working knowledge of SQL
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Office, Slack
Experience with user research and customer feedback methods
Proven ability to drive product success and growth
Experience with ML and/or AI technologies, including familiarity with ML model lifecycle, data pipelines, or AI-powered product features
Recent experience of OMS/EMS API integration with trading venues is preferred
Understanding of FIX specifications for electronic trading or data is preferred
Experience in continuous improvement and problem-solving techniques is preferred

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $150,000 USD to $200,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. You may also be eligible for annual cash incentives, equity, and other benefit programs.
