National Traveling Superintendent – Capital Projects About the Role We are seeking a National Traveling Superintendent to support capital construction projects across the country. This role is focused on overseeing field operations for paving and concrete construction projects and partnering closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure successful execution. This position is 100% travel. We welcome candidates from all construction backgrounds who demonstrate a strong work history, leadership capability, and willingness to travel extensively. Primary Responsibilities
Lead and supervise field crews, foremen, subcontractors, and jobsite activities on capital projects
Perform site maintenance of parking lots and complete repair work on site, as required
Oversee daily construction operations to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards
Partner with Project Managers to develop site logistics plans, sequencing, and execution strategies
Plan, direct, coordinate, and monitor construction activities and schedules
Promote and enforce company safety standards with strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations
Maintain productive working relationships with owners, inspectors, subcontractors, and vendors
Coordinate materials, deliveries, and equipment to support project schedules
Resolve construction issues by collaborating with engineering, supervisory staff, and suppliers
Complete detailed daily field documentation and reporting
Represent the company professionally during site visits and client interactions
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience in construction supervision (paving and/or concrete experience preferred)
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage crews and multiple job sites
Willingness and ability to travel 100% nationwide
Solid work history demonstrating reliability, accountability, and adaptability
Knowledge of construction safety practices and regulations
Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, and lift up to 25 pounds
Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Exposure to construction-related noise, dust, heat, and cold
Ability to communicate clearly in fast-paced jobsite environments
