CNC Machinist 2nd Shift – Marne, MI DISHER is currently partnering with a tool and die manufacturing company based out of Marne, MI. This company is a West Michigan–based, ISO 9001–certified tooling manufacturer specializing in production-ready tools for the metal stamping industry. The company is part of a larger industrial holding group, and it offers extensive in-house capabilities including tryout presses, CNC machining, wire EDM, CMM inspection, five-axis fiber laser, and sheet hydroforming to support complex, high-precision stamping programs. You’d be trusted to set up and run your work area and solve problems as they come up. You’ll be expected to interpret prints, select appropriate tooling, set up jobs, and run CNC equipment independently, ensuring parts meet quality and delivery expectations. country: US all locations: [Marne, MI] commitment: Full-time department: Partner Position location: Marne, MI team: 9652 What you will get to do:: Machining steel to precise measurements within 0.001”.Program cutter paths using Mastercam and WorkNC software.Use of Fanuc controls.Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC equipment.Troubleshoot machining issues.Ensure compliance with safety standards and shop protocols.Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to determine machining requirements.Document production activities and maintain accurate records of parts and materials. What will make you successful:: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in CNC machining preferred.2+ years of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Proficiency with measuring tools and quality inspection techniques.Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.Commitment to safety, precision, and continuous improvement.
