country: US all locations: [McLean, VA] commitment: Full Time department: Client Opportunities location: McLean, VA team: Construction/ General Contracting Key Responsibilities : Assist in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of physical security systems, including access control, video, and intrusion detection devices Serve as a subject matter expert for electrical tasks such as power sources, wiring, and conduit installation Support the development and improvement of work instructions, SOPs, and operational procedures Perform visual and operational inspections, interpreting specifications, blueprints, and job standards Analyze and help resolve work problems to achieve team goals Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment Lift and move materials ranging from 10 to 50 pounds as required Use basic electrical and hand tools safely and effectively Qualifications : Journeyman Electrician license for applicable state is required Experience in electrical trades and familiarity with trade-specific tools (ladders, lifts, voltmeters, conduit benders, power tools) Knowledge of access control, video, and intrusion detection systems is a plus Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and job specifications Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills Proficiency with computers and MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) Ability to work in a dynamic, flexible environment and collaborate effectively with a team
