About the Opportunity A well-established technology integration company is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to support clients across a local service area. The organization specializes in the design, installation, and support of custom audio-visual and integrated technology solutions across corporate, education, government, and institutional environments. This is a client-facing, field-based role ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and delivering exceptional technical service. Position Overview The Field Service Technician is responsible for providing on-site service, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of integrated audio-visual systems. This individual will travel to customer locations within driving distance (mileage reimbursed) and serve as a trusted technical resource for clients. There is a shared on-call rotation; however, after-hours calls are rare. country: US all locations: [Harrisburg, PA] commitment: Full Time department: Client Opportunities location: Harrisburg, PA team: Field Support Opportunities Key Responsibilities : Perform on-site service calls and preventative maintenance at customer locationsTroubleshoot and repair complex audio, video, and control systemsDiagnose and replace components including projection systems (LCD/DLP/CRT), switchers, and control interfacesInstall, modify, and test integrated AV systemsSupport system commissioning and provide installation assistance as neededProvide technical phone support to clients and internal teamsCoordinate product returns and exchangesComplete service documentation including work orders, reports, and expense trackingMaintain strong customer relationships and represent the company professionally in the fieldAssist in promoting service capabilities within the assigned territory What we're looking for : Hands-on experience troubleshooting and servicing audio-visual systemsExperience working with integrated AV, control systems, and video/audio distributionStrong diagnostic and problem-solving skillsComfortable working independently at client sitesValid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed)Strong communication and customer service skills
