PCBs Test Engineer (Aerospace)- Relocation Assistance

Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented PCB Test Engineer to design, develop, and execute testing for printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs). The ideal candidate has experience in aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated industries, with a strong focus on reliability, quality, and compliance. This role will support product development, qualification, and production testing to ensure electronic assemblies meet performance, safety, and environmental requirements. country: US all locations: [Melbourne, FL] commitment: Full Time department: Client Opportunities location: Melbourne, FL team: Engineering Openings Responsibilities:: Test Development & ValidationDevelop and implement test strategies for PCB and PCBA validation.Design test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria for new and existing products.Develop functional, environmental, and reliability test procedures.Support design verification and validation (DV/VT) testing.Test Equipment & AutomationDesign, build, and maintain test fixtures and test stations.Develop automated test solutions using LabVIEW, Python, or similar tools.Integrate test hardware including oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies, and DAQs.Improve test coverage and efficiency through automation and process improvements.Debugging & Failure AnalysisTroubleshoot PCB and system-level failures down to component level.Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.Work closely with design engineers to resolve design and manufacturing issues.Support engineering change and continuous improvement initiatives.Compliance & DocumentationGenerate test reports, procedures, and technical documentation.Ensure compliance with aerospace and quality standards (AS9100, IPC, MIL-STD).Support qualification, certification, and audit activities.Maintain configuration control and traceability of test processes.Production & Cross-Functional SupportSupport manufacturing test processes and yield improvements.Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, and Design teams.Assist in transitioning products from prototype to production.
