country: US all locations: [Hampstead, MD] commitment: Full Time department: Client Opportunities location: Hampstead, MD team: QA Openings Responsibilities:: Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with NADCAP, AS9100, and other applicable standards Serve as the primary point of contact for NADCAP audits, including preparation, execution, and corrective action management Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements across manufacturing operations Develop and maintain quality documentation including procedures, work instructions, and process flows Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) using methodologies such as 8D, 5 Whys, and FMEA Partner with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure quality standards are embedded throughout production processes Monitor and report on key quality metrics, identifying trends and driving continuous improvement initiatives Train and mentor internal teams on QMS processes, audit readiness, and quality best practices Manage internal audit programs and support external audits (customer, regulatory, and certification bodies) Ensure control and compliance of special processes such as heat treating, coatings, welding, or nondestructive testing (NDT), as applicable
