Regional Finance Manager (Audit)

Our AI solutions enhance efficiency, spark creativity, and drive insightful decision-making, empowering our teams to produce innovative and impactful results.  Role: Regional Finance Manager (Audit) Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia   About the role: The Finance Manager (Audit) will report to Financial Controller and will be responsible to support and monitor statutory compliances, communication of risk policies and processes, monitor the accuracy and completeness of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts closing across the APAC region   What you will be doing: Responsible for planning, executing and finalising both Group and local audits in collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve accounting and taxation statutory compliances within set deadlines You will be the key contact point with Group auditors and Group Finance team in meeting the audit deliverables for the Group Drawing up the reconciliation of the management result to audited accounts with clear explanation on reconciling transactions Review and implement with consultation with Group Finance team compliance with latest accounting standards, assisting and drawing the financial statements and developing the appropriate financial statement disclosures You will monitor and interpret emerging technical issues on its implications on APAC region Responsible to deploy Group’s risk management processes and procedures and continuous compliances Monitor monthly, quarterly and annual accounts closing, ensuring compliance with Group policies and timely reporting requirements You will communicate key closing information, managing financial analysis and analysing reports and coordinate the responses to Group Finance team Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by reporting manager   What you need to be great in this role: Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting Proficient with IFRS and regional local GAAP Have good fundamentals of taxation framework Preferably having worked with cloud-based enterprise accounting and performance management systems Minimum 4-6 years of relevant working experience in similar role, preferably within the advertising industry Have a good understanding of accounting principles, risk management and internal control systems Attentive to details and able to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial information Willing to accommodate to longer work hours during monthly, quarterly and annual closing periods Able to: Review and identify inconsistencies in large amounts of data or information Summarise large data sets and organise it into a presentable and easy to understand format Identify a problem, investigate to find out relevant facts and find a logical solution Structure your efforts to ensure completing tasks efficiently and by required deadlines Convey ideas and information in ways others can understand in both verbal and written communication Adaptable, works professionally and enjoys working in a team Req ID: 15582 #LI-DB1 #Onsite Our values shape everything we do:  Be Ambitious to succeed    Be Imaginative to push the boundaries of what’s possible    Be Inspirational to do groundbreaking work    Be always learning and listening to understand    Be Results-focused  to exceed expectations    Be actively pro-inclusive and anti-racist across our community, clients and creations    OLIVER, a part of the Brandtech Group, is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating an inclusive working environment where all employees are encouraged to reach their full potential, and individual differences are valued and respected.
