Traders partner with our technologists to continually engineer and optimize our trading systems to stay on top of the industry.  We are seeking an Options Trader to help scale the Singapore office. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build and operate trading strategies while helping shape the growth of Belvedere internationally. As an Options Trader, you will be critical in developing and executing trading strategies within equity and commodity products. You will leverage your analytical skills, quantitative mindset, and strong market intuition to identify opportunities and manage risk in a dynamic trading environment. As always, our traders work in a team environment and collaborate with software engineers and quantitative researchers to ensure optimal performance. No phone calls, please.   Work Schedule: Regular and reliable attendance during business hours with the ability to be on-site prior to the start of business on occasion  Physical: Ability to remain at a desk and concentrate for long periods of time Amount of Travel Required: None  country: SG all locations: [Singapore] commitment: Full-Time department: Trading location: Singapore team: Experienced What You'll Do: Help build out the Singapore trading presence while managing risk and capturing trading opportunities for all of Belvedere’s core market-making desks Partner with developers, quants, and other traders to enhance trading tools and algorithms  Participate in formal education on quantitative concepts to build your trading knowledge Constantly seek to improve strategies, processes, and tools for competitive advantage Gain meaningful experience in position management and automated trading systems Learn to make independent decisions during an active marketplace Research and explore new markets trading opportunities and strategies Act as company ambassador for the local industry as needed What You'll Need: 1+ years of experience in options trading or a related field Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline Strong understanding of equity market structure, pricing, and trading dynamics Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, with the ability to work with large datasets and develop models Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to synthesize complex data quickly Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to thrive in a team-oriented environment
