Role Overview
As a FinTech Strategic Insights Associate, you will support the firm's business development efforts by identifying strategic opportunities, performing deep analysis of industry trends and target companies, leading the creation of materials used to win new business, and helping to build relationships with the leading FinTech companies around the world.
Key Responsibilities
Track industry trends, company performance, investment activity, and emerging technologies across the FinTech landscape
Leverage in-depth research and analysis of FinTech, blockchain, and crypto sectors to drive deal sourcing and procurement
Lead analysts in developing client targeting strategies, analysing prospective companies, and advancing the pipeline
Work directly with the leadership of leading FinTech companies to enhance the firm's diligence and assessment of each opportunity
Collaborate with senior bankers across the firm to develop presentations and other materials to win new business
Manage the maintenance and enhancement of internal databases for market intelligence, transaction activity, and target clients
Required Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, venture capital, corporate strategy, or a related field
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in blockchain and cryptocurrency is required
Proficiency in developing code and leveraging AI tools for process and workflow optimization is required
Deep understanding of FinTech market dynamics and emerging trends
Superior research, writing, and presentation skills
Bachelor's degree from a top-tier institution; advanced degree or MBA is a plus
