Role Overview
As an Investment Banking Analyst, you will be deeply involved in all aspects of live transactions and business development efforts, including:
Building detailed financial models and valuations
Conducting industry and company research
Preparing strategic analyses, recommendations, and presentations
Supporting client engagements, due diligence, and execution
Collaborating closely with senior bankers to manage deal processes
Mentoring and training new analysts and interns
This role offers unparalleled exposure to leading FinTech CEOs, venture capital and private equity investors, and innovative technology firms, as well as direct collaboration with highly experienced senior bankers.
General Qualifications
1–2 years of full-time investment banking experience, preferably in M&A or sell-side advisory.
Bachelor's degree with a minimum GPA of 3.5.
U.S. work authorization required (FT Partners does not sponsor applicants for work visas).
Proven ability to lead and manage projects effectively.
Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and technical skills.
High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail.
Strong presentation and communication skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to take initiative.
Ability to work well under pressure in a team-oriented environment.
