Blockchain Tech Lead – RWA & Tokenization, Tokenized Energy Platform

About the Company A leading Asia-Pacific energy retailer and one of the few licensed Virtual Power Plant (VPP) operators. With 150+ staff in Australia, 80+ engineers in mainland China, and a functional HQ in Singapore, the company runs a live VPP platform that trades kWh with retail customers via IoT meters. In 2026, the business will launch a tokenized energy ecosystem through a new Hong Kong entity, targeting a Nasdaq listing within 2–3 years. Role Overview You will be the first blockchain engineer, responsible for auditing VPP IoT data, designingon-chain architecture, and deploying secure, scalable smart contracts. You will work closely with IoT engineering (mainland China) and the Product Lead to deliver a production-ready tokenized energy system. Key Responsibilities ● Audit VPP IoT data feeds and implement Chainlink or equivalent proof-of-reserve systems ● Design and deploy mint/burn vault (ERC-20/ERC-721) on-chain ● Build smart contract architecture for kWh → token conversion ● Lead security audit (CertiK or equivalent) and gas optimization ● Hire and mentor Solidity developers to build and maintain the platform ● Integrate with Hong Kong payment rails and compliance systems ● Document technical roadmap for staking, governance, and cross-chain Required Qualifications ● 5+ years in blockchain engineering; 3+ years in RWA/DeFi/Institutional platforms ● Shipped RWA vault with real-world asset backing ● Expert in Solidity/Rust, Hardhat, Foundry, and Chainlink oracles ● Experience with IoT → on-chain data pipelines ● Fluent in Mandarin (daily syncs with engineering team) ● Eligible to work in Hong Kong Preferred Qualifications ● Rust/CosmWasm experience ● Prior work in energy or carbon credit tokenization ● Familiarity with HKMA stablecoin sandbox and local regulatory environment Why Join?
