Please apply only if you currently hold full legal right to work in Italy.  country: IT all locations: [Pisa] commitment: Full-time department: ION Markets location: Pisa team: Information Security & Compliance Role Overview: The Junior Cyber Security Analyst is an entry‑level role within the ION Markets Division, supporting the protection of systems, networks, and information assets. You will work as part of a dedicated security team, gaining hands‑on experience in security monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident response while developing a solid foundation in enterprise security operations. Key Responsibilities: Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and potential threats affecting systems and networks Perform threat assessment, vulnerability identification, prioritization, and remediation follow‑up Operate, configure, tune, and maintain security controls and technologies (e.g. endpoint, network, SIEM, DLP) Conduct threat hunting, alert investigation, triage, escalation, and incident response activities Support vulnerability management processes from detection through remediation and verification Assist with containment, recovery, and post‑incident activities Execute application security activities, including penetration and security testing Maintain and improve security monitoring, logging, and reporting capabilities Support compliance with policies, regulations, audit requirements, and industry best practices Produce and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and operational procedures Deliver business‑as‑usual security operations in line with defined KPIs and SLAs Your skills, experience, and qualifications : Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, IT, or a related discipline  Basic understanding of networks, operating systems, and IT infrastructure Familiarity with security concepts such as: Vulnerability management Incident response Security monitoring and logging Exposure to security tools or platforms (e.g. endpoint security, SIEM, antivirus, firewalls)  Willingness to learn scripting or automation basics (e.g. PowerShell, Python) Good problem‑solving skills and attention to detail Ability to communicate clearly with teammates of varying technical backgrounds Fluent in English (B2) Valid EU work permit for non‑EU candidates
