About the Role   We’re looking for a part-time Payroll Coordinator who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and ready to support the payroll function behind the scenes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on keeping things moving, enjoys working in ever-evolving environment, and can adapt quickly when priorities shift. You’ll play a critical role in preparing payroll inputs, maintaining data accuracy in ADP Workforce Now (WFN), and supporting the broader payroll team. Just as important—you bring a calm, thoughtful approach, treat people with care, and don’t mind finding a little humor in the day-to-day.   What You’ll Do Support payroll processing by preparing and entering data into ADP Workforce Now (WFN), including:  New hires, terminations, and employee changes  Pay rate updates and effective-dated changes  One-time earnings (bonuses, stipends, adjustments)  Recurring earnings and deductions  Review and validate payroll input files for completeness and accuracy prior to processing  Assist with payroll audits by comparing input data to payroll registers and reports  Track and organize payroll-related documentation, ensuring proper recordkeeping and compliance  Respond to basic employee payroll inquiries and escalate more complex issues as needed  Support year-end activities and other administrative payroll projects  Maintain strong attention to deadlines and ensure all inputs are submitted on time  Who You Are Highly organized – You keep track of multiple inputs, deadlines, and details without things slipping through the cracks  Detail-oriented – You take pride in accuracy and catching small errors before they become bigger issues  Calm and adaptable – You can pivot when priorities change and stay steady during busy payroll cycles  Supportive team player – You’re proactive, reliable, and ready to jump in where needed  Empathetic and professional – You communicate clearly and treat employee questions with care  Positive attitude – You bring a grounded, approachable energy (and aren’t afraid to laugh when appropriate) For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, MCO includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This accounts for the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications.
